As part of the City’s Rebuild Program @rebuild.phl — a historic investment of $400 million into parks, recreation centers and libraries, Blanche A. Nixon /Cobbs Creek Library underwent a $6.5 million renovation!

Renovations include:

* ADA Upgrades
* Blanche A Nixon Memorial Art Sculpture
* New play area with interactive play panels

Mi Casita is a Spanish immersion preschool that uses the Creative Curriculum as a launching pad for developing a comprehensive Spanish Immersion preschool education. The Creative Curriculum has been nationally recognized as one of the most effective curriculums in the country.

The next class is a family-friendly Easter themed cookie decorating class on Sunday, April 13th from 1-4pm designed for kids and their parents.

Each ticket includes one parent and one child working on a set of 6 cookies together!

This class includes a welcome glass of wine (for the parents!), a selection of sweets from 1984 Cakes, and 6 cookies to decorate. Founder of 1984 Cakes, Natalie, walks you and your child through decorating your cookies by hand using royal icing. Class ends with a group photo and a giveaway to one lucky person.
